Overview

About Amfitriti

Our largest yacht, and the only one where every cabin has its own heads and shower — four doubles, four bathrooms, nobody queuing in the morning.

Her shallow 1.65 m keel opens up anchorages the deeper boats have to sail past, which matters more in the Ionian than most people expect.

The saloon table drops to make two further berths, so ten can sleep aboard without anyone drawing the short straw. That conversion is a pre-booked extra at €100 — tell us when you book and the legs and cushions are aboard when you arrive.

Bow thruster, solar panels, a 1500 W inverter and a 10″ Raymarine plotter have all gone in over recent refits.

Practical

Base and check-in

Amfitriti lies at D-Marin Gouvia Marina, Corfu — Dock A, berth 23. Roughly fifteen minutes from Corfu airport.

Check-in is Saturday from 17:00 and check-out Saturday by 09:00. Allow about an hour for the briefing and handover: we walk every system on the boat with you before you leave, and most crews come back to the berth on the Friday evening so nobody is sailing to a deadline on the last morning.

A refundable security deposit of €3.000 is blocked on the charterer’s credit card at check-in and released after redelivery. The card must be in the charterer’s name.

Questions

Before you book

Can I charter Amfitriti bareboat?

Yes, with a sailing licence valid for coastal waters and real experience skippering in Greek waters — particularly anchoring and Med-mooring stern-to. The port authorities require the original certificate or an official translation, in English, together with a crew list. A second crew member must sign as co-skipper. Send us both documents before the charter so the crew list can be prepared.

Can we start or finish somewhere other than Gouvia?

One-way charters to Preveza are possible, subject to availability and a one-way fee. Ask when you enquire and we will price it with the rest of the quote.

What happens if something breaks?

You call us. We have technical support at Gouvia, a second base at Preveza and cover at Gaios on Paxos, so wherever you are in the northern Ionian help is not far. Most things we talk you through in five minutes on the phone.

What happens if the weather turns?

We help you re-plan the route around it — that is what local knowledge is for. Charter days are not refunded for weather, but in practice the Ionian almost always offers shelter within a couple of hours, and we will tell you where.

How do I book?

Send us your dates and how many of you there are. You will get an answer from Potis, usually the same day, with availability and a full price including the charter pack and anything else you have asked for. A deposit on signing confirms the booking and the balance is due thirty days before you sail.
