Corinth Canal Route
Sheltered, steady sailing on the historically calmer shortcut into the Aegean — the same route sailors have long favoured over the exposed Peloponnese passage.
Gouvia Marina (Corfu) → Gaios (Paxos) → Preveza → Vathy (Ithaca) → Nafpaktos → Galaxidi → Corinth Canal → Aegina → Alimos Marina (Athens)

Round the Peloponnese
The long way — open-water passages around Cape Akritas, Cape Matapan and Cape Maleas, the exposed southern capes sailors have detoured around for centuries. More miles, tougher conditions, faster progress toward an Offshore ticket.
